I can add it to the other two Ferrari transporters I already own. I really like the new F1 car design. And it comes with a Vespa!

I loved Legos growing up and still have all of mine so I started a collection that my son and I can work on once he’s old enough. This is one of the first sets:

That price, though.

Yeah, I know. Ten cents/piece is a pretty good metric for Lego pricing, and this one is a tad steep. I’d rather not think of how much money I have locked up in Legos right now.....

Neat idea. My son has that one, though I think it’s in pieces in the general Lego collection.

I keep almost buying the Millenium Falcon lego set. I love it but the price...

It’s a win-win. If he likes them, I can help him put them together. If he doesn’t like them, I can put them together.

I want the new TIE fighter and the collector’s X-wing. But yeah, too much coin.

If I win the lottery I’ll roll down to the Lego Store in my newly purchased Chevelle SS and buy all of the things.

Apparently an F40 set is coming next month, which should be really good.

Do you know the size or scale? I have the
F430
from a few years ago to go along with the Lambo police car. I prefer those traditional block sets to the Technic sets, though I have two Technic F1 cars.

I don’t know for sure, but I’ve seem rumblings that it’ll be roughly the size of the Mini.

We both know it’s the Ferrari licensing.

You’re probably right. I hadn’t considered that. As much of a Ferrari fan as I am, I wish they would produce Technic sets of the other teams. I know they made a Williams a few years ago, bit I don’t think it was available in the US. And the Mercedes set they have now doesn’t interest me beyond the car. If I get the new transporter, I may have to transfer my Kimi minifig into the new set.

It would certainly be cool if they did. The licensing is the whole issue, I bet; Ferrari is so entrenched though, and they command a premium on everything bearing their marque.

It’s also a global brand, recognizable to people who don’t follow F1. As is Mercedes. Who, other than an F1 fan, would want a Force India Lego car? I mean,
I
would, but Lego probably wouldn’t move too many sets. And they probably wouldn’t be too crazy about the alcohol branding, either.
